Ek garam chai ki pyaali ho :)

One of the popular hindi songs goes by these words ‘Ek garam chai ki pyaali ho, koi use pilane wali ho’

which means, ‘I wish – A cup of hot tea, I wish- the presence of the gal (in my life) who brings it for me :)’

Beautiful wishful thoughts expressed- please note, thoughts of a bachelor :)!!

If all married men agreed with this song, the world would be much different -lol 🙂

Wonder why all romantic movies are about falling in love!! Why aren’t they about staying or continuing being in love? Cuz that’s the aspect we all love ?

The search, the journey, the getting there! Once we get hold of something, we don’t appreciate it till we either lose it or get a taste of what its to be without it..

So am sure each one of us is getting somewhere..May be simply moving forward, finding new things to get hold of, pursuing new interests to lose our mind for..

What if there was no search, no journey – Just a moment of NOW!!

Would you like it?

  1. “Wonder why all romantic movies are about falling in love!! Why aren’t they about staying or continuing being in love? ” I have often wondered about this too…

But then, is it actually, ‘Cuz that’s the aspect we all love ?’

Yesterday, I was traveling. Got some time to relax. Was not carrying anything to read. Was checking on few local channels, which had an overdose of typical Indian tv soaps!. Incidentally, more so-called romantic ones. I wondered, is it not all these worldly/earthly love only on screen/books & other forms of art ? Is it not just a figment of human imagination. Just imagination ?!

Perhaps true love is Divine Love, alone !

    • Hi Subash!

      Cant agree any lesser!!
Actually I guess, cuz of all the romantic overdoses, the term love has lost its context.
What movies fail to explore is the concept of self love & how it can change the way we radiate love & for me, that indeed is divine love!

When love grows from within & fails to untouch any other being in the proximity- isn’t that ‘love’..
Just yesterday sat through an entertaining romance overdose of a hindi movie- Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani!!

This post puts things into perspective esply, after sitting thru 3 hours of an entertaining overdose 🙂
      Thanks for responding..

      Cheers
      Shraddha
